How To Play Photo A Day

Each month a new photo a day list is revealed with daily prompts to inspire you to take a photo each day. They could be words like pink, or sport, or tiny, or dark, or chocolate, or really anything that will get you to start thinking creatively.

Each day you’ll simply look at the list, use the prompt as inspiration and take a photo. The Photo A Day challenge is for everyone; beginners to brilliant. It’s not a competition.

Next, share your photo. You can share wherever you’d like, but if you want to be considered for the featured photographer of the day, you must submit your photos here and accept our terms and conditions. If you’d prefer to play along without submitting your pics, you can share to any social media platform with the hashtag #GHTPAD in your caption so we can all admire your photies!

PS: If you have something stored in your archive that you think fits the prompt, don’t be shy to share it! We’re trying to ignite a passion in people to take and share more photos. It’s a great way to celebrate our town and community members.
